1. The base layer contains water

In summer, the wall construction will have the illusion that the wall has been dried out. Before construction, the construction personnel must ensure that the wall base is completely dry before proceeding to the next step.

If the wall is difficult to dry due to high temperature, you can use a dehumidifier to speed up the drying of the wall. If the wall is painted before it is dry, it will easily lead to peeling and cracking of the wall.

2. putty construction

Under the normal construction of the putty, the best grinding effect is obtained within 6-24 hours. If the grinding is not carried out in time and the air humidity is high, the putty will be wetted and cured again.

At this time, the base surface of the putty will appear surface dry, and a layer of high hardness and glossy film will be formed on the surface of the putty.

In summer, the temperature of the wall exposed to direct sunlight is very high, and the primer quickly forms a film after rolling, which cannot penetrate into the base layer of the exterior wall, resulting in poor adhesion. It is recommended to avoid direct sunlight for construction, and appropriately increase the amount of dilution, so that the primer can fully penetrate into the base layer of the putty and improve the adhesion.

If construction is necessary, shading measures should be taken to avoid direct sunlight; note that the temperature of the painted wall is higher than the outdoor weather temperature.

After the construction is completed, try to avoid exposure to the sun. If the painted wall is often exposed to sunlight, the color of the wall will easily fall off, and the white wall will turn yellow. In addition, exposure to the sun will also cause the wall to heat up. When the wall temperature drops after painting, the paint surface will crack.

5. Material storage

In summer, the temperature is high, and if it is not stored properly, it is easy to change the performance of the coating, and it is easy to cause problems during construction. Therefore, summer paint should be stored in a cool and ventilated place, and the storage container must be well sealed.
