How much heat can carbon fiber withstand?

What are the fire protection methods after reinforcement?


In fact, some of the methods we usually use are to add a layer of cement mortar to the outer layer for protection, or to paint fire-resistant paint, or to paste fire-resistant boards. Therefore, when a fire occurs, the external adhesive reinforcement will temporarily fail, which is not conducive to escape.


Therefore, in principle, the increased strength of external bonding does not exceed 40% of the original structural strength. In the event of a fire, although the external adhesive reinforcement fails, the structure can still be maintained without serious problems.
