What is unidirectional carbon fiber fabric?

The unidirectional carbon fiber fabric is in one direction (usually meridian) with a large amount of carbon fiber, with only a small amount of carbon fiber in the other direction and usually thin carbon fibers in the other direction, so that all the strength of the cloth is in the same direction.

Unidirectional carbon fiber fabric is a nonwoven carbon reinforcement material, characterized by all fibers running in a single parallel direction. Using this type of fabric, there is no gap between the fibers, and these fibers are flat. Without cross section weaving, the fiber strength is divided into two directions in another direction. This allows the density of fibers to provide maximum longitudinal tensile potential greater than any other fabric weave.
