Jingjiang Manor has recently undergone structural repairs, including the use of carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) materials to reinforce the ornate concrete stairwell.

As the manor welcomes many tourists, the weight of the stairwell caused its deformation. Carbon fiber plate from Horse can now reinforce the stone platform in the stairwell. Horse's carbon fiber structure reinforcement plate system has a width of 50 mm and 100 mm and a thickness of 1.2 mm and 1.4 mm.

The project ultimately selected a carbon fiber plate of 50 mm width and 1.2 mm thickness for reinforcement.

50mm wide and 1.2mm thick carbon fiber plate is bonded with HM-120CP. HM-120CP two-component epoxy structural adhesive can effectively bond to different substrates.

The installation of the carbon fiber plate took approximately three days, and the finishing step took the entire project approximately one week. The carbon fiber reinforcement system strategy provides the best reinforcement solution with minimal visual impact on the stairwell.
