Therefore, after talking about the price difference caused by the specification grade of unidirectional carbon fiber sheet, we must also talk about the price difference caused by the carbon fiber adhesive. Carbon fiber adhesives must pass the safety appraisal, generally have the certification of 30 years and 50 years of durability. The 30-year endurance only needs to pass the humidity and heat aging test. In addition to the 50-year endurance unidirectional carbon fiber sheet, it needs to pass the humidity and heat aging test, and it must also pass the long-term stress test and non-toxic test. Therefore, the difference in quality and performance of the adhesive for the unidirectional carbon fiber sheet with a durability of 30 years and a durability of 50 years can be seen.

In order to reduce costs, some manufacturers use raw materials that are inferior carbon fiber filaments or simply false filaments when weaving unidirectional carbon fiber sheet. Some use "stealing silk" (reducing the use of carbon fiber tow) to reduce costs. Others use large tows instead of small tows to reduce costs. The above situation is not serious, you can’t see anything, you need to detect it, but the serious bad one-way carbon fiber sheet has a bad feel, the sheet surface is not too smooth and flat, and the cutting is easy to scatter.
