The innovative use of HORSE HM-30 Unidirectional Carbon Fiber Wrapping Fabric proposed, designed and installed by Hammersmith for the strengthening of the roof trusses to warehouse 3 and 4 at the Kellogg Rayong plant offered both time and cost savings to the Client.  

The system also offered the added benefit of the deletion of previously required “knee bracing” to the existing trusses and the subsequent loss of vital racking and storage space. 

The project involved the strengthening of 24 roof trusses to this 2300m2 warehouse facility to allow the vital installation  of a new fire suppression system.
