Quality management of carbon fiber reinforced material system

The quality management of the corresponding material system mainly includes 3 items, namely the carbon fiber cloth system, the supporting resin bonding material system and the surface protection material system. According to the "Technical Regulations for Reinforcement and Repair of Concrete Structures with Carbon Fiber Sheets", the above three systems are checked for their respective product qualification certificates and product performance test reports issued by the quality inspection department. The carbon fiber cloth and supporting resin bonding materials should have a The physical and mechanical performance indicators supporting resin-based bonding materials should also have durability performance indicators and construction and use environment requirements. In addition, other materials involved in construction should meet the relevant national standards and regulations.

Supporting resin bonding material system

According to the "step construction method" commonly used in China, the material system includes primer layer resin, leveling material and impregnating resin.

It should be emphasized that the supporting resin-based bonding material system and the carbon fiber cloth material system must have sufficient bonding performance. Here we use "matching" to explain, because not all resin-based bonding materials can be used together with carbon fiber cloth. Only when these two material systems are matched can they really work together and play the role of reinforcing materials.

Surface protection material system

According to the requirements of the actual engineering structure for environmental conditions (such as fire prevention, corrosion protection, etc.), qualified products that meet the requirements for use should be selected in accordance with relevant national standards.

After the performance selection and testing of the above material system, the effectiveness and safety of the materials used in the reinforcement of concrete structures with carbon fiber cloth can be guaranteed. This is the basis for ensuring the quality of the reinforcement project.

Quality management of carbon fiber construction system

Reinforcement construction can only be carried out after the material system meets the quality management requirements. CFRSs reinforcement method is to adopt a specific method to arrange continuous carbon fibers in one direction to form a reinforcement material, and use two-component epoxy resin to glue on the outer surface of the treated structural member to improve the structural function. The current domestic application of carbon fiber cloth reinforcement and repair of concrete structures basically adopts a three-step construction method. That is, on the basis of the substrate treatment, the primer resin, leveling material and impregnating resin with different properties and functions are applied successively. Paste the carbon fiber cloth on the surface of the concrete, and after the resin is cured, it will increase the load-bearing capacity of the component and improve the force form, performance or anti-corrosion. The specific construction process is as follows: preparation work-base grinding treatment-brushing the bottom layer resin-leveling treatment-brushing the impregnating resin, pasting carbon fiber cloth-surface protection treatment.

Due to the different coupling properties of carbon fiber cloth and different types of bonding resins, each construction sequence is indispensable in the actual project, so the quality management of the construction system also runs through each process.
